Summer Outreach Camp

Every year, IISER Bhopal conducts a week-long Summer Outreach Program to promote science among high school students and to inculcate an appreciation for the role and contribution of science in the betterment of mankind. Students studying in classes IX, X, and XI across India are eligible to apply. This program provides an ideal platform for students who are at the crossroads of choosing a career path. It has consistently attracted more participants with each passing year.

• Make science interesting for high school students and open up opportunities for bright young minds by providing clarity about future career options.
• Give participants a taste of campus life.
• Provide exposure to state-of-the-art laboratories and hands-on experience working in them.
• Further engage students through alternative strategies such as visits to science museums and stimulating lectures by eminent faculty members from reputed institutes.
