Program Overview

The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Program is a flagship initiative aimed at empowering educators with modern teaching methodologies, advanced pedagogical tools, and leadership skills to foster academic excellence and holistic development among students. This transformative program includes interactive workshops, hands-on training sessions, and collaborative learning experiences led by distinguished experts in the field of education.


The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal is one of the 116 prestigious institutions identified as a part of the Malaviya Mission Centre to support capacity building for faculty at all levels of higher education.


Faculty Development Programme (FDP)

The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) at IISER Bhopal is organizing a One-Week Residential Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Modern Characterization Techniques for Molecular & Nano Materials", scheduled from February 23-28, 2026.


Program Highlights

This comprehensive six-day program features four offline sessions each day (9:30 AM to 5:30 PM), focusing on the following core themes:


  • Spectroscopic Techniques
  • X-ray Diffraction
  • Ultrafast Spectroscopy
  • Surface Characterization
  • Device Characterization
  • Electrochemical Techniques

Dates: February 23-28, 2026
Schedule: Four offline sessions daily, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Venue: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal


Targeted Participants

The FDP is open to faculty from State and Central universities, affiliated private colleges. The NOC must be submitted at the time of registration.


Resource Person

Faculty members from IISERs, IITs, Entrepreneurs/Industry Experts, and Eminent Teaching Experts Impaneled by UGC will serve as resource persons for this program.


Accommodation

Accommodation will be arranged on prior intimation at visitors' hostel, IISER Bhopal.


Food & Snacks

Food and Snacks will be provided by the MMTTC-IISER Bhopal during the programme.
