About Open House

The Institute, through its Centre for Science and Society (CS ), is organizing its maiden “Open House” to provide a platform for high school and college students, teachers, parents, and industries to experience cutting-edge teaching and research at IISER Bhopal.

Open House is a one-day event aimed at providing an opportunity to visit the IISER Bhopal campus and get an insight into the ongoing innovative research as well as the numerous advanced laboratories and facilities available at IISER Bhopal.

This is an “Open for all” platform, where IISERB showcases its science and research prowess to the visiting public through live experiments, scientific demonstrations, lectures, and exhibitions. This exposure is supplemented with critical perspectives from Humanities and Social Sciences. Additionally, there are fun activities through which the participants can interact with faculty and student researchers. We welcome you to experience the excitement of research and innovation at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER Bhopal).
